(b) On Death after 5 yrs but before maturity date: Basic sum
ü Income Tax rebates:
Single premium paid is eligible for tax rebate u/s 80C of Income Tax Act.
Both the Maturity and Death Benefits are fully exempt from tax as per
Section 10(10D) of Income Tax Act.
ü Loan facility is available after 3 months from the commencement of policy.
ü Can be used as collateral security for Housing and Educational Loans.
ü Provides for a High Insurance Cover for a relatively low Single Premium.
